Deer Exchange Matches Hunters with People in Need
Registration is open for the Deer Exchange, a program at Nebraska Game and Parks Commission that matches hunters with people who would like to receive venison. Last year, the first year of the Deer Exchange, hunters donated 300 deer through the program, which is the equivalent of 60,000 quarter-pound servings of venison. (Read more)

Stephen Vantassel will examine questions of human-wildlife relations from both ethical and practical viewpoints in his talk on Tuesday, Oct. 27, at 7 p.m. in the Hardin Hall auditorium at 33rd and Holdrege. Vantassel is an expert in wildlife control whose Ph.D. in theology focused on humans' relationship with animals. (Read more)
